Reply Cancel Cancel. I think something has gone skewiff on my system with the update to SP3. X7 has become erratic in its responses to menu choices, when it was working fine before.
I didn’t see any error messages while SP3 installed, but I’m pretty sure some of the code has been broken. In any case, I’d at least like to get back to what i had before — a working SP2. As often happens on Windows Win7 x64, in my case , an uninstallation through Control Panel doesn’t do a complete job. I would like to remove the suite completely, so I can do a new clean installation.

Hi Bran, First uninstall via the control panel then go back to the control panel and uninstall the Corel shell.
Now check your computer for files left behind in program files and program x64, common files, my documents, etc. Reboot and in most cases that’s it. Some folks also clean the registry carefully , I have done this many times without touching the registry testing and removing buggy betas. Thanks for the replies, Bob and George. Yeah, I’m familiar with the whole business of uninstalling, but it always leaves stuff behind.
I’ve edited the registry in the past, but there are always keys that aren’t named with text strings — the ones with alphanumeric strings as names, for instance. I specifically asked about a uninstallation utility for a reason; please don’t assume that because i ask a question I know nothing about anything, as so many people do on the Internet. As a rule, I generally don’t touch it as an option.
Anyway, I appreciate the responses. There’s no difference if you just want to uninstall Update3 then reinstall the original version and upgrade to X7.
